This Cookie Policy explains how JINNA.AI LTD (“Jinna”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on Jinna.ai, app.jinna.ai, and related web pages and services.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your device when you use a website.

We may also use similar technologies, including:

  • browser local storage;

  • session storage;

  • authentication tokens;

  • pixels;

  • tags;

  • scripts; and

  • other device-storage or access technologies.

These technologies may be used to make Jinna function, maintain secure sessions, remember preferences, understand use of the Services, and measure performance.

2. Categories of technologies we use

Strictly necessary

These technologies are required to operate Jinna securely and provide functionality requested by you.

They may be used for:

  • authentication;

  • session management;

  • account security;

  • fraud prevention;

  • load or request management;

  • remembering privacy choices; and

  • maintaining state while you use the application.

Jinna currently uses first-party session technologies including identifiers such as:

  • server-token;

  • sid; and

  • supabase-session.

Authentication or application state may also be stored using browser storage technologies.

Strictly necessary technologies cannot generally be disabled through our Cookie Settings because the Services may not function correctly without them.

3. Functional storage

Jinna may use browser storage to remember functionality such as:

  • application preferences;

  • authentication state;

  • integration state;

  • feature configuration;

  • recently used document information;

  • temporary application data; and

  • information necessary to support shared-document access.

Some functional technologies may be essential to the functionality you have specifically requested.

Others may be optional depending on the feature.

4. Analytics

With your consent where required by law, we may use analytics technologies to understand how people use Jinna and to improve performance and functionality.

Jinna uses Google Tag Manager to manage certain website tags.

Where enabled, tags managed through Google Tag Manager may include Google Analytics or similar analytics services.

Analytics information may include:

  • pages or features used;

  • browser and device information;

  • approximate location;

  • session information;

  • pseudonymous identifiers;

  • application events; and

  • performance information.

Google Analytics configurations may use cookies such as _ga and related identifiers. The precise names and duration of analytics cookies may vary as configurations change.

Google Tag Manager itself is primarily a mechanism for loading and managing tags; cookies and other storage may be created by the services loaded through it.

5. Advertising

Jinna does not currently use advertising or retargeting cookies as part of the Jinna product.

If we introduce targeted advertising technologies in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and provide the consent or opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law before using them.

6. Document and email tracking

Some Jinna document features may use tracking technologies that are not traditional browser cookies.

For example, a document-related email may contain a small tracking pixel that records that the message was opened.

Shared proposals, invoices, estimates, and signing pages may record interactions such as:

  • when a document is viewed;

  • viewing duration;

  • downloads;

  • interactions with document sections;

  • device type;

  • approximate country;

  • email address where access verification is used; and

  • signing or security audit information.

These technologies are used to provide the sender with document-delivery and engagement functionality, support electronic-signature evidence, prevent abuse, and maintain security.

7. Third-party technologies

Some features contact third-party providers directly.

Depending on the feature, these may include services used for:

  • analytics;

  • authentication;

  • fonts;

  • address autocomplete;

  • payment processing;

  • geographic lookup; and

  • other embedded functionality.

Those third parties may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser information when your browser communicates with them.

Their use of information is also subject to their own privacy policies.

8. Cookie consent

Where applicable law requires consent, we do not activate non-essential analytics or similar technologies until you have made a choice.

You can:

  • accept optional technologies;

  • reject optional technologies; or

  • change your preferences later through Cookie Settings.

Rejecting optional cookies should not prevent you from using the core functionality of Jinna, although some optional functionality may be unavailable.

In the UK, current ICO guidance requires clear information and active consent before non-essential cookies or similar storage technologies are used. This includes scripts, tags, and local-storage technologies, not just traditional cookies.

9. Browser controls

Most browsers allow you to:

  • see stored cookies;

  • delete cookies;

  • block cookies;

  • block third-party cookies; or

  • restrict storage by particular websites.

Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent Jinna from functioning correctly.

Browser-level controls operate independently of Jinna's Cookie Settings.

10. How long cookies remain

Some technologies are session-based and disappear when a session or browser session ends.

Others remain for a defined period or until you delete them.

Jinna's core authentication cookies are generally configured with relatively short durations appropriate to maintaining secure sessions.

Analytics and third-party technologies may have different retention periods determined by their configuration.

We may update this Cookie Policy when technologies, providers, or legal requirements change.

The date at the top shows when the Policy was last updated.
